I’m Tim Chicola and I am the Lead Pastor at The Crossing. I’ve been here in this role so long (22 years) that I don’t think there even exists a written job description anymore. I like to view myself simply as one of the servant/leaders on a great team. I preach, cast vision, counsel, and when needed, set up chairs and refill the paper towel dispensers.
I am a graduate of Northeastern Bible College (B.B.L. 1980), Denver Seminary (M. Div. 1985), and Gordon Conwell Seminary (D. Min. 2007). My wonderful wife Marianne and I were married in 1982 and we have four children, Joseph (deceased), Kaitlin (married to Scott Elliott), Emily (married to Matt Carpenter), and Caroline. I believe the local church when running right is the hope of the world, and that Christ is the only answer for the brokenness of men and women. I feel privileged to work in this place, with this staff, and can’t imagine being involved in anything else.
